Orange and Turquoise Pocket Vase
 
The unusual glass in this fused pocket vase is called "Spirit Glass" It stands: 6.5"(16.5cm)length x4.5" (11 cm) height. There are 2 pockets that were formed during the kiln firing process. The vase was then shaped in a second firing to give it a curve enabling it to stand independently. The pockets are 2.5" (6 cm) deep and hold fresh water. The curve has a depth of 2" (5 cm) allowing it to sit on many windowsills. Light shining through this piece is spectacular!
